It really is a terrible suituation in the US at the moment. People are stranded without food, heat, their homes in ruins & worst of all not knowing if your loved ones are safe or not. It must be an appauling suituation – none of us can even start to imagine how it would feel or how you would start to rebuild your life.

Many relief efforts are underway & you can help by donating, the redcross & The Salvation Army are two places you can donate. Every pound that you give will count at the stage.

Greg Rozsa, an online marketer is also getting off his feet and doing what he can. Along with Jeff Little they are visiting the area to assist anyway they can – giving up their own time & money in the process.

Donations so far have reached a staggering 8000. Greg himself explains

Like you, I was thinking to myself “I wish there was something I can do to help these poor people”. The problem is, if you donate money to these “huge charity groups”, a lot of the time the money goes to large administrative costs and can take months to actually benefit the people who need it most.

Firstly, you should know I am not some “charity group” that raises money and spends a portion of it on administrative costs, leaving little to no money to go to the actual cause.

I am just a regular guy, just like you, who wants to help in any way I can with what is being called “the worst natural disaster to hit the United States”.

Departure is planned for Friday 9th September, and you can donate & track their progress via http://www.helpwithkatrina.com/
