Although eBay.co.uk already sells more vehicles than AutoTrader it appears that eBay want to increase their market share further. For a first time, eBay are offering vehicle dealers who are registered as business sellers on eBay the previously unknown opportunity of listing classified ads on eBay.

Although classified ads show up within normal Auction and Buy-It-Now format  search results eBay have made the unusual step of allowing deals to be completed away from eBay.

Ebayers who are interested in cars featured in Classified ads, have the option of contacting the dealer though email, who are then free to exchange contact details.
