As a frequent seller on eBay, I often run into problems when I try to communicate with the safe harbour team at eBay. Anyone who uses eBay will be aware of the canned responses unlikely to address your queries, many which are delivered two to three days after you send your initial message.
Well, I discovered a little trick that seems to work to achieve a more prompt response. Using this, I’ve recently had an eBay problem solved in under four hours. This is how it works.
As eBay has many global sites, did you know that you can log into each site with your username & password. So even if your registered in the UK, you can freely log into eBay.com.au with the same details.
So, using this knowledge you can also submit your message, question or problem to more than one eBay site and you’ll have more than one team working on it. For example, if you are registered with eBay.co.uk, you can submit your query to the eBay UK team, and then if it’s an urgent question also log into other eBay sites and submit the query to eBay.com and eBay.com.au
You’d then have three different teams working on your query, whoever answers the quickest is the winner!
Really, there’s no need to wait around days waiting for eBay UK to reply when I have found eBay Australia will answer in a few hours time. After all if your eBay is your home business you can not afford to be hanging on for a reply.
Give it a go & let me know how it works out.
