In conclusion, Auto Auction Income contains all the information you should have been told about selling on eBay – but wasn’t. Even Powersellers & lifelong sellers will learn something from this ebook which could take hours away the tedious tasks associated with selling digital products online. Although it does seem to contain a number of affiliate links, all of these are well placed and completely relevant to the content. Another recommended product from Lee McIntyre, I’ve yet to find a better valued product for just $7.

1)Auction Format

When listing your item be sure to choose the correct format. Normally, the Buy It Now option is ideal for ebooks as it allows a speedy transaction for both the bidder and the seller. On eBay.com, you are permitted to use either the Auction format, the Buy It Now format or list your item as Store Inventory. Many other eBay sites, such as eBay.co.uk only allow digital items to be sold using the Buy It Now format or Store Inventory, so check first which your allowed to use.

2)Images

Many eBooks and special reports have images to represent the product. Use them in your listing, this has proven to increase the perceived value of the product.

3)Bonus

Offer a relevant bonus free with your product. This will ensure your offer stands out when compared with other sellers offering the same products. Also, place a value of the free bonus, such as “Included as a free bonus worth $10″

4)Automatic Delivery

Use the option of automatic delivery, if using eBay.com. This is not available on other eBay sites such as eBay.co.uk or eBay.com.au but similar commercial services such as payloadz are available which do an identical job. This will make sure your item is delivered automatically and immediately, once the buyer pays, even if it’s 3AM in the morning.

5)Follow up

Follow up with an email to your buyer, to ensure their happy with their purchase. You can also use this as an excuse to offer a relevant product to the previous purchase, or just include the url of your eBay inventory so they can visit your items again.

6)Rights

Before you list any product on eBay, make sure you are allowed to resell it. Resell Rights and Master Resell Rights are different things, if your selling items which your not allowed to it will get you into trouble somewhere along the line.

7)Use an eBay Store

Open an eBay store. This allows you to list hundreds of digital products for a few pennies each. Ebay Store  inventory has a lower listing fee than the alterative Buy It Now.

Unfortunately, by the time google may have crawled and indexed your listing it may have ended, so if your considering using this technique to rely on extra traffic for your eBay auctions it’s pretty much essential to either maintain an ebay store or have a large number of listings active so users can jump to your other items – Ideally, both.

Also, by using niche keywords although you may be gaining traffic from google, it’s worth remembering traffic from ebay may be down as the majority of users rely on eBays keyword based search facility – For example they type in specific keywords instead of browsing categories & are more likely to search for “Engagement Rings” as oppose to “Asscher Cut Diamond Engagement.”

Overall, Jims suggestion is a good one. Especially if your looking to build a full time business both on and away though eBay, however it should be used with caution considering the recent eBay price rises for using Featured Plus in some categories.

However, to take it one more step forward if you already run an existing eBay store it’s even easier to gain exposure from google this way. How? Simple rename one of your store categories to your chosen keywords.

I’ve done this for the last three years and have maintained a top five position for the specific keyword in google. More importantly, as it’s a store category and not a featured plus listing it doesn’t cost me a penny more. Let me know your experiences.

2) The majority of time, feedback is permanent and is non removable.

3) Your feedback shows how responsible you are as both a buyer and a seller. It also includes any bid retractions you may have made

4) How do you react when things go wrong with a winning bidder or with a seller. Do you work to resolve any issues or not? Your feedback profile will indicate this.

5) Are you experienced on eBay and how long have you been registered with eBay. Would you be more willing to do business with someone who’s been registered five days or five years. Your feedback profile includes your registration date on eBay.

6) How many times have you changed your user name & why? Sometimes a change in username, may indicate a problem or you are trying to hide something.

7) Almost every ones feedback on eBay is publicly viewable. Users don’t have to be involved in a transaction with you to search for your feedback and can view feedback profiles at anytime by using the search facility available.

However, now the site is powered via ZENCART users can choose stock of their choice from a list of 9 dropshippers or wholesalers included so this will not effect them.

BJDropship are one of the longest established UK dropshippers, so hopefully they’ll be able to solve their current problems and restart trading.
